Superman (Painting)

Superman painting inspired by a statue based on the Big Blue from Superman: The Animated Series and Alex Ross' paintings of both Superman and other paintings. It didn't come out exactly how I wanted it, but this was the first time I've painted and I really enjoyed this, however I found the acrylic paint didn't suit my intended style, so I think if I paint again I'll be using watercolour or gouache. Hope you like it! This was created on 11x17 inch bristol board using a mechanical pencil for the under layer, with an acrylic paint finish, later edited in Photoshop for higher saturation.
